Export, hand over, or leave
Export your project
In Console, choose Export authorized game data. Each JSON file contains up to 100 project-scoped players, revision, timestamps and game data permitted by their current grant. Large projects download several numbered files; allow multiple downloads when your browser asks. Revoked, expired and inactive grants are excluded. Installation identifiers, other games’ data and visitor histories are never exported. Exports are sensitive: encrypt them, restrict access, and apply later deletion and withdrawal requests to every copy. Export is paginated, not a transactionally frozen snapshot.
Transfer ownership
The maintainer uses Project controls → Transfer ownership. The recipient must already have a verified approved developer account and current agreement. Record the handover reason. A transfer suspends the project and revokes old grants; the maintainer reviews the new publisher, privacy policy, assets and callback ownership before restoring it. Players reconnect to authorize the new publisher. Share no device credentials, OAuth tokens or session encryption keys with the new owner.
Close a game
- Announce shutdown to your players through your own app and support channel, with a clear export/deletion deadline.
- Export only currently authorized data you have a legitimate need to retain. Offer users a game-specific export.
- Ask weBump support to suspend the project, supplying its public client ID. The maintainer confirms your verified owner identity and records the reason in the audit log.
- Remove visitor-card caches and game backups in accordance with consent withdrawals and your stated retention policy. Delete server session tokens and keys when no longer needed.
- Request permanent project-data deletion after the agreed deadline. The maintainer validates ownership, takes any required recovery checkpoint, records approval, and runs a scoped deletion. This irreversible action remains a deliberate maintenance step.
Suspension stops API access and profile publication immediately on new requests; it does not pretend already downloaded copies can be recalled. A player's Delete this game's data control removes the current server save and revokes grants. Installation deletion and inactivity cleanup also remove game data. Backup expiry follows the operator’s backup retention policy; a restore must replay deletion/withdrawal records before reopening service.
Operations
The private console shows per-project requests, errors and measured JSON response bytes over 24 hours, plus current stored JSON and icon bytes. It refreshes every 30 seconds. These are application measurements, not network billing: headers, compressed wire size, cached icon deliveries and database overhead are excluded. Minute buckets expire after 30 days. The independent status service probes public API readiness and both websites and alerts the maintainer on sustained failures and recovery.
